The following BBC Urdu documentary tells what we are going through currently in Peshawar. We are not allowed to park our cars freely, move around with ease etc etc.

Friend every know it. On my visit to Peshawar on 6 dec 2009 I witnessed the same things. What’s the way-out? We should ponder over it. Someday I found a Peshawar declaration by the secularists, including ruling parties in NWFP bus shocked to read it. Being A Pukhtoon I’m very disturbed due to our "leadership"

Hello Ahsan,
As a journalist for France 24's Observers website I'm very interested in this subject - perhaps you could explain further as I don't speak Urdu.
Do you think we could get some amateur images of the restrictions in practice?
Best,
Sophie

@talkhaaba its indeed very sad but situations like these serve to be a source of revolution. And I always try my best to keep up the morale of my country fellows.

@Sophie its clearly visible from the video that our life has become very restricted. There are check posts everywhere, none availability of car parkings & even more, every person around seems to be dubious.
I'll definitely get the images for you. Just drop me an email at [mutanthuman]at{gmail}dot[com].
